http://www.powerlifting-ipf.com/Approved-List.51.0.htmlIPF spec perhaps, but that's not quite the same thing.
They are good bars though. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend getting the chromed version.

Why dose that matter Paul? They are great training bars.

That's about the right price in America. The problem is shipping and import duty, c**tos imported a couple and it worked out more expensive then buying over here.
I believe they were IPF approved but Mac Barbell no longer pay the annual fee to the IPF, so they are now off the list.

Had a quick scout about to see if any of my suppliers sell them. Doesn't look like they do, but I asked these guys to see if they'd be willing to supply me. Will hopefully be selling them in the future, seems to be fair demand for them, and even with shipping and customs, as it'd be spread over a larger number of bars, it shouldn't be hideous.

my point was that the advert specified it was IPF approved and it isnt. Which would make me abit suspicious of the company as they perhaps dont know what they are selling leading me to think if its a powerbar at all.

Have a look at the quest bar, it's IPF approved.

Deal is being hatched, and should be selling the texas power bars in the UK in the near future, not certain on price, but will be lower than Pullums Will be offering postage to within the UK for £10 per bar as well. drew04/09/09 @ 11:10

No. The two Eleiko ones are now locked away, don't trust you f**kers with them. Texas power bars are purely for selling. There are a couple of nice banana bars still for general useage. I'm too good to you.
