Jim "the big man" Blanchflower is suggesting a friendly fixture between SB and Salford PL club. He is suggesting early next year, and he is asking Catts gym owner if we could have it there and just pay the entrance fee per person. I think we could have the comp with the proper comp equipment and in the side room.

Aim would be to get as many lifters as possible, newbiew welcome!

What do you folk think? Who is up for this? I am in for sure. Would this clash with Edinburgh challenge? What was the date for that again?
AvatarRob
This sounds like a very good idea - would be nice to meet some fellow local lifters including Jim.

Also a good warm up for the NW unequipped in April.
AvatarJoni
rob, good point, its an exellent bridge to the NW open.

And more to the point, this is a great opportunity to people to try competing for the first time. David and Alex, would you be up for it as well? Rick? Haris?

What about edinburgh boys as guest stars Grin
AvatarDavid
I would definately be up for that if everyone doesnt mind?

It would give me something to aim for. Also i think i would have to break my sugden virginity and train there at least once to feel a part of it Grin

Good stuff David, you're more than welcome. In fact, now you're going to need a bloody good excuse not to do it!
AvatarCuddles
Oh and we need to get as many people there as possible I reckon, Millsy? Boar? I'll drop Faz an e-mail and see if he might be interested. Someone should drop Badboy an e-mail too, im sure he'd be interested.

Edinburgh boys?? I await your feeble excuses!Wink

Also, Joe, you're doing this too.

Umm, I think that is the weekend we are washing our hair..... Wink

I'm up for it if I've stopped being f**kING ANNOYINGLY ILL by then.
AvatarRob
LOL oh dear Rick!! You should go out in a spaceman suit or something.
AvatarRick
The worst of it is I've got my one big singing gig of the year on Saturday and at the moment I barely have any voice at all.

Am much better today, though - even played some full-court basketball (badly, for the most part). I am filled with hope that I may be ok by the weekend.

I *may* train Wednesday, if I continue to improve; the next session after that is likely to be Wednesday week. Disrupted month, etc.
Avatartokar
I'm up for it provided I can fit it into to my minutely planned build-up to the NW Unequipped.
AvatarJoni
possible dates are in february:
4
11
18
25

all are sundays. it could be a saturday as well though, but if anyone of you are not here on some of those dates, speak now or forever be silent and shut the f**k up.
