Caron is probably the most underrated strongman there is. Finished 5th last year. Really should've gotten an easier group TBH. Group 2 Bjornson Licis The only other challenger I see is Savatinov but Licis is so good on stones I don't see him having to many problems even if he goes into the last event down in 4th place or something. Luke Stoltman is another who is great at stones. In another group that might have given him a shout but Licis and Thor are too good. Group 3 Janashia Shivlyakov I can see Loz missing out here. I think he will drop major points on the elephant carry and probably place mid table on the first event. If he goes into the stones without a good advantage of Shivlyakov I think he will get beaten. Group 4 Hall Kieliszkowski. They may as well have just given them both final places TBH. Group 5 Savickas Hollands But beware of Zageris who always brings his best to WSM. I wouldn't be surprised if he is right with them going into the stones.

That only works if you can beat Shaw on anything. Viking press is the only event where I think that will be possible.

His problem is he is going to go before Shaw and Thor if they are ahead on points. I think it would be very difficult to manipulate results even if he wanted to.

With zageris out group 5 should be fairly straightforward for terry and z barring injuries or massive upsets. To be honest every group except group three looks to have two obvious finalists who you'd expect to make it through comfortably.

I really think this facebook/instagram thing with him became weird over time. He is wearing tight leggings now and does this weird smiling all the time. We all would do that if it secures or increases our income but i still don't like the "new z"
