Aiming for a 250 squat by the end of 2012 Member 1989, 3168 posts SQ 240, BP 140, DL 270650.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | Post Edited: 13.07.2014 @ 16:56 PM by shortandmighty As part of the Huntly Hairst Food and Farming Festival we will be running a competition aimed at Novice/intermediate competitors. The comp. will be held at Huntly Auction Mart in the North East of Scotland, AB54.Events will be: Arm over Arm tractor pull Loading- 3 implements onto a trailer/cart and then pushed 10m to finish weights TBC Cartwheel deadlift for max weight (approx. 16") Dumbell medley - 40kg circus dumbell, 55kg monster dumbell, 58kg circus dumbell, 64kg circus dumbell in quickest time. Atlas stones to approx 48" platform, with a slight twist. There will be a selection of stones from 90kg to 180kg with ascending points awarded for each stone. Start where you want but stones to be lifted in order within the 90 seconds time limit. This gives everyone a chance to do a run of stones. The majority of the comp will be held indoors inside the mart with the option of one event being held inside the main auction ring. There are toilet facilities and a cafe onsite, with plenty of other stalls and events to see and get involved with. I'm currently working on sponsors to try and make the comp free to enter and with some decent prizes. | ||
