The VW emission scandal is deep. It detects when it is being run in a lab and gives clean results only to pollute the environment. How many other cars have fake emission tests? http://www.theguardian.com/business/live/2015/sep/24/volkswage...

The Audi advert. The Swiss have banned sales of Volkswagen diesel cars.
I don't know about the emission side of diesel cars (there is less chitty chitty bang bang than earlier diesel cars) but from limited personal experience if I was to buy a car from the fuel economy aspect I would get a diesel car.

I was 17 in 1979. I remember all that history when I saw that video. I am not a pollution maker other than back and forth to my job most of the time. Why are Americans such gas hogs? Do we waste it in other ways other than other countries don't waste it? OTHER
