Just a 'heads up' for competitors from the north of England.
Our 3rd annual comp 'Boltons Strongest Man 2012' is to be held in victoria square, Bolton.
We had approx. 2000 spectators throughout the afternoon at the 2011 comp in August and we will be returning to the town hall square, again on a saturday afternoon next summer.
Our novice/inter comp will be 'Bolton only' however, after much deliberation, the open comp will be half bolton / half 'rest of the north.' 5 heavy events in the open comp, looking for 7 lads from north of england with proven ability.
This will be the main event at 'Bolton strength and fitness show 2012' and we confidently expect BIG crowds on the day.
