Shaun Clegg Junior British Weightlifting Champion

24th April 2010 - Posted by Rob Sugden member Shaun Clegg today made his return to high-level weightlifting competition. He snatched 120 and made 140 in the clean and jerk for a 260 total, at the age of 17, to become the junior British champion in the 77kg class.

The victory comes on the back of a strong run of training that has seen him make excellent progress across his lifts. Shaun's immediate aims include qualifying for the Commonwealth Games.
