Benedikt Magnusson Attempts 487.5kg Deadlift

29th March 2010 - Posted by Rob Icelandic strongman and ex deadlift world record holder Benedikt Magnusson attempted a 487.5kg unequipped deadlift at a push pull competition apparently held in a pub.

The attempt came on the back of a 402.5kg deadlift which suggested there wasn't a significant amount left in the tank.

His reasons behind this attempt are not currently known.
