Well done Sam

I've seen many deadlift records not locked out.....but a record is a record

I'm no expert. So I won't pretend to be.

Was strong. I know I couldn't do it so respect where it's due

Last year deadlift was 1st

AdamT said:I would love it if someone can push him on that event. With no Ed, I imagine Shaw will just pull enough to get the win.

To be fair why risk injury, if he can win the event with something to spare..

Eddie is the best deadlifted, but on that long bar and without a suit, Brian might beat him.

It's a pity Ed isn't at Arnold's.

I have trained log last friday, 1st week in november then nothing since before may.

So im gonna put some real work into log now and see where it can go. My back held me back for a long time but now thats not an issue.

Did 200kg for first time in 2012, i trained it every week back then and had a plan and a programme.

you will see some big numbers getting thrown about in next few months.

Yeah I think he's got it if no injuries.
Edit - an christ, you look like you have gained yourself in bodyweight from what you used to look like

hopefully this year that extra weight will bring new strengths. Time will tell

halls yoke is quite possibly the most impressive thing ive seen him do, more so than the 500. It was so quick most peoples jaws were on the floor.

I always thought he would struggle against thor and shaw.

But, with certain powers behind him, i imagine the final will suit him hugely this year and hes going to be the man to beat. If he wins squat dead press and 3rd in truck and stones....... just needs another 3rd or 4th placing in another event and its his.

I am a believer.

AdamT said:Hixxy, do you think you can hold the log record some day?

You're looking statically very strong.i honestly think if a clean isn't too difficult, you could press anything. Bit like Radz!

If I have a nice year of no setbacks I will press big
Did 200 back 2012 and my pressing is entering new regions already and only been bk training properly a few months

I would have thought it would be more fair to set the height according to the athlete?

Being tiny
I'd say make shield smaller
Stone platform adjustable too

Then it's fair :-)
