» Right lads, I'm finally gonna get strong. PL 'federation' advice please. (Go to post)21-06-2021 @ 10:16
I'd consider the Abpu. It's the drug tested arm of the bpu. I always lifted bpu and if I was to ever compete again It's where I'd go.

You also have the option of knee wraps bare knee single ply and multi ply all within the same fed.

Nimble said:I think Terry is a good example. There was time when he was a title contender but he knows those years are behind him. But he still comes with an aim to make it into the finals which given his performance this year looks to be a realistic if challenging goal. As a fan, I really like that attitude. But I can also understand wanting to go out at the top.

I think had Terry had made the final he would have given a better showing than the Latvian that pipped him through. Just a case of the events which, except log, were overall very good for Terry.

It's great to see him back as one of the world's best though.

1. Novikov - WSM 2020

2. Stoltman

That's all I know so far.

Hard to call the top Brit. Grip will cripple Hixxys chances but the other 3 are hard to split.

Graham has a better grip than he is credited for - he's done a 405kg dead no straps.

This is actually pretty decent. I tried 200lb dumbells yesterday on incline and only got 2 reps. I've been 'off' long enough to finally press less than Shaw. Lol.

My comp weight for british grip championships was just over 180. Weighed friday after a 3 course work christmas meal and was just under 174

Why get heavy for a grip comp? It's counterproductive.

250 bench after 3 huge squats is decent!

In big dogs where the best of the best compete nearly all the field bench 230-260

I don't know the man or his situation, but I do know that the territory between "too broken to compete seriously" and "to broken to live a normal, largely pain-free life" is well worth exploring. I live there, and hope to do so for the rest of my days.

Me too. If I hadn't got out the sport when I did I'd have been f**ked. However, I totalled 1000kg, and can still lift recreationally and enjoy the rest of my life. My only permanent injury is the knee blowout from my strongman days that will need a knee replacement one day!

Looking at this list does make me want to retake the top spot... just a little, but it won't be happening for reasons mentioned above.

Kamil was bare knee not sleeves.
Alexander Clarke is getting close to his bare knees record.

Biby strict press 220 from rack

No other modern day strongman has replicated this feat
