» Partial bicep tear (Go to post)17-05-2016 @ 17:06
I tore my bicep tendon completely of the bone of my forearm 2 years ago.

I had surgery I was in a sling for 6 weeks after 4 I was removing sling to try and move my arm during physio. Took me 12 weeks to get full range of movement in my arm as I had bad nerve damage in my forearm from the operation. This held my recovery back alot.

Took me a year to gain full strength and movement as I waited for the nerves to recovery 1mm a day or something I was told.

2 years on I've still got slight numbness in my forearm and hand from nerve damage but strength is 90% what it was.

I would still have the operation again as I'm in better shape than I would be without surgery.
