I really do appreciate all the speculation and faith in my abilities but putting on another 30kg of bodyweight really does not appeal to me! I'd rather maintain some degree of health and total 1000 at 100-110 than go insane for a 1200 total at a life shortening bodyweight and extreme hormone abuse. Fair play to anyone else who's committed to that path, but my goal is to be as strong as possible while being lean and healthy, medically and within my day to day life. I'll probably end up with a bit of weight to cut to make the 110's by the time I'm done. Plenty more to do in the 100's though.

Thanks for all the comments and well wishes with my hamstring. I expect it'll be 3-4 weeks before I can make a proper start with deadlifts and maybe squats again. Still hobbling around today unfortunately.

AdamT said:If you remain at 100, what's the long time goal? 365/215/390 would be realistic and awesome targets. A wee 970 total at 100kg would be alright like lol After that 375, I was sure I had 390 in me, and I've really neglected deadlift in this build up in favour of bringing the squat on, and had done nothing in training that would suggest my deadlift would be so good on the day, so with that in mind and a little time to train it harder like I did when I pulled 400 earlier this year, I'm hopeful this can be replicated on the platform at 100kg. I'm going to remain at 100kg for a little longer as yesterday convinced me that there is plenty more to be done without moving up to 110, so we'll see how it goes. Depending on how long it takes to heal up, I'll be aiming to squat 360 at the British at the back end of the year, and deadlift at least the 390 I felt capable of yesterday.

560 wilks which is the biggest recorded in Britain without the use of suits and shirts. 345kg squat - British Record 200kg bench 375kg deadlift - British Record Went for a 3rd deadlift of 385kg but unfortunately suffered a nasty hamstring tear as soon as it came off the floor, so 8 out of 9 lifts today, with enough room for improvement to encourage me to stick around in the 100's a little longer. Thanks for watching!
