» 490kg ipf world record squat (Go to post)09-11-2014 @ 18:12
I made so many rookie mistakes that day but all I can do is better next year.
Let's be honest cannot do much worse

No idea what I will pull but one thing I know is I still love it so I will still carry on.
430k mark us a great pull for anybody
Leeds I had 8 weeks notice never used straps
Had my belt and suit stolen 2 weeks out
Not excuses but facts and I will carry on as long as I am alive
Lol

At last a good question ha ha
For me up to around 470k feels pretty good but when it went 500k plus then it felt like my spine was breaking lol
But it all depends on your shape at the time in shape 500k plus feels good not in shape 400k feels heavy
Same with Deadlift how many lifters could do 400k at any time nobody you have to be in shape to do these kind of weights

Walking out
Staying in
Squatting close
Squatting wide
One thing in common a massive Squat is still a massive Squat

The Deadlift at Gpa I think 440k will win it but some say I will not not I might not but will not pull over 420k
420kg Raw Deadlift would be top 3 lifters all time raw on Deadlift

The one thing that will remain the same is anything over 490kg is heavy single double ply 4 ply whatever it's heavy

I Squatted 550.5kg in multiply gear with no walkout.
490k Squat with a walkout in single ply is something else nobody on here will ever understand because they never had that sort weight on there backs.
And its so easy to get caught up in numbers but all these Squats are heavy.
