Definitely a soft handoff, but it was a fast press and a clean lockout. So better than many of these so-called all-time records...

410lbs wonder if he would be stronger than the big Z

try and keep the upper body as upright as possible and keep those elbows high and you'll find the movement alot better and easier.

i have read about some osteopath or chiro saying that he can always see which way around the patient holds his grip on deadlifts by just looking at their back.

So when i started deadlifting i used the grips both way around for balance purposes and grip strength training purposes. However, i noticed that my dicky back gave in more often with the grip one way compared to the other way, so i decided to just stick to my prefered way of gripping the bar and just ignore the imbalance possibility.

joni has a great point if you just do the same grip all the time i can through you off i.e. you need to be balance in PL comps and strongman so use the alternate grip but rotate them

nope never competed in a PL comp have been thinking about it but my passion is strongman been like this since i was young and saw Jon pal sigmarsson, geoff capes, magnus ver magnisson, Svend karlsson all these guys i have watched since i was young and wanted to try it, its taken me a while but i'm getting there slowly
