Front squats 100k2/2 107.5 fail

paused front box squats 80kx2 85kx2 90kx2

sit ups 40/40/40

had to look after the kids and put them to bed on my own tonight .f**king nightmare they ran rings round me,consequently quite late training so kept it short!

short term goals 1 giving up smoking FAILED SMOKED 11 FAGS TODAY

2 doing some sprints and ppylometrics tonight FAILED COULD'NT BE ARSED

your as old as you feel they say and i feel old ,fat,and unfit! but never fear plans are in progress to regain my youth, threw my fags in the bin last night and am going to do some sprints after squatting tonight!

triceps well and truly pinged!

spent the day in the garden today with the kids messing about and having races and as I desperately tried to keep up with my 6 year old son ,tits and belly wobbling heart pumping and gasping for breath,I think I had one of those nearer to 40 than 30 mid life crisis moments ,where I realised that i have turned into a fat unfit f**ker who cant run to the end of the garden without having a mini heart attack!
I used to be a fairly athletic and 3 years ago I ran a reasonably respectable time in a half marathon so to suddenly find myself 20% bodyfat and gasping for breath is a bit of a shock!
tomorrow the fags get binned and I am going to start eating healthy, since I can only do limited training with weights at the mo I am going to start adding some anearobic cardio
such as interval sprints and pylometrics to my training ,as the extra explosiveness cant hurt the powerlifting and it will make me feel less of a fat c**t!
getting older its a terrible thing when your body wont do the things it used to do with ease!

good luck with the self employment I've been self employed for 9 years now and the best tip I can give you is keep on top of your receipts and invoices or you'll end up either having a nightmare come tax return time or paying an accountant s**tloads to sort it out for you! Oh and dont forget to put some money aside to pay that tax bill! Hurts like f**k the first time you have to hand your hard earned cash over to the c**ts at the inland revenue!

Oh yes kickbacks do indeed rule the new king of exercises!

got in late tonight so short but hard session

front squats 90kx3 95kx3 100kx1/1

paused front squats 60kx2 65kx2 70kx2 75kx2 (1 minutes restbetwen sets)

reading that back it looks like f**k all but it felt really hard ,its going to be a tough day at work tomorrow!

shoulder seems to be getting worse was going to do paused back squats but couldnt get
my arm back far enough without my shoulder complaining so looks like I'll have to stick to front squats for a bit! seeing a new physio next week who is suposed to be a bit of a magician so hopefully I'll see some improvement soon!

need to work on keeping upright with the front squats as the bar was starting to pull me forward on the heavier sets still reasonably pleased with tonights effort,was hoping for 2 on the 100k but it was'nt happening ,still its a pb but only because I've never tried that weight before!doubles on with it on friday or next week and might try some half squats with 110!

those deadlift looked realy easy mate if you trained them as hard as you train the bench you'd soon be shifting s**tloads of weight mate ,and your bench might improve even quicker as you would'nt be benching every day !Tongue Tongue
