You played the ‘Nazi Germany’ and ‘Stalin’s Russia’ cards as part of your opening gambit. I can’t do anything other than applaud that.

jamspastic said:Loosing weight and lifting weights is kinda counterproductive in a way. The majority of us start lifting weights to get bigger, so why try to get smaller?

Why not just focus on being strong, fueling your body correctly, and setting performance goals?

Chances are you'll look and feel better.

Just my 2 cents

mainly because i'm 50 and have a massive gut ! and my dad has type 2 diabetes which means i have a higher chance of getting it , and i'm not bothered about bring bigger anymore.

well being honest it's slowed down a bit , I lost a stone and a half but i've put a couple of pounds back on , hence the starting the one meal a day again , hopefully i'll start slowly losing weight again.

did one meal a day today , trained before eating never doing that again squats were horrendous just had no energy . Littler you are mad of sterner stuff than me!

squats atg barx5 40kx5 60kx5 80kx5 90kx5 100kx5

curcuit of 50 kettlebell swings (25 each hand) 20 kettlebell snatches (10 each hand) 5 assisted pistol squats (5 each leg) and 20 clean and press (10 each side) with 16kg kettlebells

squats felt very hard but i've been doing a lot of flexibility work and i was really pleased with the form and the depth . Dont really have any strength goals anymore but i do have goals to lift with good posture and full range of movement and today felt like a step in the right direction. Back felt good!

At least they voted for it Ed. The Republicans voted against it pretty much as a block. They said it was not done a bipartisan basis according to McConnell, which is a fair enough point, though that sounds somewhat ironic coming him. Public were 76% in favour apparently.

yep , but that comes as no surprise to anyone you expect the Republicans to f**k the average man over , they also didn't campaign on a £15 minimum wage , $2000 stimulus cheques , ending forever wars in the middle East and ending child separation at the mexican border , given he's already bombed Syria , he's reopened a detention centre in Texas that separates families ,$15 minimum wage has clearly been abandoned and the $2000 dollar cheques have morphed into $1400 . If i was a cynical man i'd be wondering why the progressives are so quiet and acquiescing.
» US Presidency (Go to post)12-03-2021 @ 15:52
interesting that only one democrat voted against the covid relief bill in protest at them ditching the $15 minimum wage , and he was more of a conservative democrat , absolutely nothing from the so called progressives other than the odd strongly worded tweet before they acquiesced like good little soldiers.
