| Errrr , i ruptured patella tendon, dislocated kneecap,tore quad muscle - all on left leg , and at the same time ruptured quad tendon and quad muscle ruptures on right leg . Had major complications with left leg including failed ops and DVT . After 3 ops on the left and 1 on the right they can do no more and i`ll be on crutches permanately. This was doing a quite light farmers ( 95kg) at the BRITAINS MOST POWERFUL MAN 2008. | |||

| it will be probably be heavier on the day . Richard Hudson will be testing it in the morning before the comp - if he gets more than 20 reps , i`m making it heavier!!! He isn`t competing before anyone says he isn`t a novice!! | |||

So I`ve made them part of a medley. | The problem is that in previous years i have had alot of no - shows , 2 years ago about 20 put names down and 12 or so turned up , last year 13 put names down and only 6 turned up!! So will be ok if it runs to form , but i need something in place if everyone turns up. Also the sword hold will NOT be the same rules as 2008 - the time will be stopped if they drop below horizantal , i`m making the rules this year !! lol !!! | |||

I don`t know what the deadlift equates to but it will be tested soon , and if its too easy i`ll add more weight - if its too hard the i`ll use a car. No straps on the deadlift - unless its really hard, i think its more strongmanish to not use straps plus it adds a grip element to the event. | |||

| Its a comp for the local carnival and they want a good show for the crowd , really anyone can enter who hasn`t qualified for a big comp final - like the Englands or UK`s. For instance if we do a log lift it will be 100kg, the tyre i`ll use weighs 380kg and i`ll probably do a 4x4 pull - with 2 vehicles - one way hand over hand then back with a harness.So if this will be up to the indivual if its enough of a test or too hard .It will be on grass this year .There will be prizes - at least £200 for the winner and others prizes too. | |||

| Just an update on Wayne - he went to Harlow a and e and was diagnosed with torn pectoral tendons and tissue - he went back to crewe the same night and had an op to repair the damage , he is now recoveringand back to work . Hope he takes the time to re-assess things and maybe re-think training to avoid future injuries as much as he can . | |||
