First session back after the GPC qualifier on Saturday and finished on a 315kg squat, 140kg bench and 260kg Deadlift. Plan was to hit the B standard for British which was 595 I think and I ended up hitting the A standard so I could technically do worlds in September if I feel up to it and money dependent.

I was going to the comp with the intension to do the minimum required to get the B standard but once there it kind of went out of the window and I pushed my openers up for bench and deadlift. Lifts were squat 300, 315, 322.5 miss, bench 120, 130, 140, deadlift 225,245,260 for 715kg total.

There was plenty more there on bench and deadlift but trying to play it safe and not push it too much with the bicep, all felt OK and most of all no further injuries. Messed up my 322.5kg squat attempt abit, didn't seem to get set up right and wasn't strong enough on the day, hopefully will correct this over the coming months and get this and more.

Back to training now and hopefully looking at doing a small strongman comp with some ideal events which are going to be friendly to my bicep to help me break into the swing of things again

Just entered the GPC powerlifting qualifier in Chester on 1st July, probably abit too soon but hope to hit a pb squat in wraps and put in a token bench and deadlift to get the b standard to do brits which are in November I believe
