Icepick Legend killer! Nice ring to it.

I tried on a 40 the other day. Not sure how you got into yours! I couldn't make depth in 90% of my max. Not even close. I have an even greater respect for equipped lifters in some ways. I was knackered just getting the bloody thing on Tongue

And here is his student:

Funily enough he got that all wrong by actually locking out a lift on his own. Apparantly he was beaten with a large stick and nail in the toilets for that mistake.

Step up the master to show how to not do a rep properly!

As I kanee load a pic up because I am being told its the wrong size?

Many thanks in advance to those that can help a techno-phobe like myself!!

ME Sq

Todays plan was to use a squat suit i bought circa 2004, and wraps, to do some supra-maximal squating in place of a high box squat. It didn't go according to plan!!

Squat
Barx10
70x8
120x3
140x3
Put squat suit on- 15 mins later its just on (crotch not up properly) and I am basically fooked lol!!

160x3 no depth (1/2 ROM)
180x3 no depth same as 160
200x1 not even close!!

I realised that it was gona take more than my pb to make it anywhere close to depth and certanly more than I was going to get back up! Was so far of on the 200 that I was trying to relax to make the depth but no cigar, not even a fag end. To pardon the pun I was out of my depth, so took the suit of and did some high box work. Was out of shorts by then though so didn't lift much!

High box squat- 180x3x3
Deadlifts- 140x3, 160x3, 170x3, 190x3, 210x3

Grippers- RH IM*1 x10x3, LH IM*1 x5x3 (nice fast closes).

So ended up a bit of a bo***cks session but there you go lol!! I know what went wrong with the suit though. I have gained about 9kg since I bought it (83-92)! I have only used it 3 times back in late '04 and early '05 and could make depth in 180. Its a size 40 titan centurian and I could put it on with effort. But far easier than today was. People no doubt use suits tighter, but they also know what they are doing.

Next week back to unequipped lifting Tongue

Check out this guys training. He's my hero! He demonstrates on these two vids how to train without doing a single rep. Genius!

Pussy your thinking thats not heavy. But no, he can also 'not do a rep' with heavier weights too!

This aint the only vids I have seen him post on this site. So far not a full rep in sight Tongue

I use it for my shoulders Rob. I will do it once a week normally on my assistance bench days.

I choke a band onto the top of a power rack etc then loop it round my wrist, walk away then mobilise my shoudlers through different plains. Normally about a min per arm. Then I'll do band dislocates and finish by standing on the band and dealifting againts it holding at the top for 30s or so. I'll also do some stretching work against a fit ball too. Shoulders feel great after!
