The supplement exuse holds no water. He knows this. Just to save face with friends and family properly.

Ish. A remote population of orangutans has now turned out, 'on closer', inspection to be different enough to be classed as another species. Not sure whether it's all official yet but cool nonetheless.

Had a banana this morning. I'll have 1-2 portions a meal. Although they means probably don't eat enough as per guidines

Whatever is to hand. Either the kids or wife's stuff. Unless it's shaved then whatever soap/gel is to hand. Either the kids or wife's stuff. Yes there's a pattern there.

exactly - what are the average lifts of absolute beginners?
I've tripled my barbell bench over my training career and that doesn't include 4 months at start just using the chest press machine which certainly inflated my barbell lift when I first started - wouldn't be surprised if I have nearly quadrupled this in reality.

We, no doubt, are stronger at weight training than a untrained chimp. Aside from pull ups Happy Tbh if you actually want to test the force output of a chimp you need to get it into a lab and on some proper kit. It's getting them to max out (using humane methods) would be the problem.

Great animal, but estimates of peak mass tend to be around 800-1000kg. Which is around the theoretical limit of a terrestrial mammalian carnivore.

Not sure which I'd rather....if a leopard was to ambush me the death would I imagine be pretty quick.
But with a guerilla you'd be pounded bitten dragged and thrown I'd imagine a painful death Unhappy

I am sure you've probably grabbed an enraged, cornered house cat. Scale up 😂

Don't leopards kill by crushing the back of its preys skull? If they are hunting guerillas that would be a clear case of the physically weaker animal killing a larger one.

I think I'd rather fight a gorilla than a leopard... Rightly or wrongly, but yes the Leopards tactic is ambush. No prizes for a fair fight Happy

matthewvc said:gorillas making weapons to fight bears? - there is minimal evidence of any tool making amongst them.
there is no way a gorilla could make the leap of intuition to do this '2001 a space odyssey' style.

they're (as dan baseley has said) a passive and naturally non-confrontational animal.
one-on-one against a bear, i'd favour the bear any day.
a massive carnivore that can easily decapitate a human with a few swipes and bites.

This. Unless the fight is in the future and our ape overlords can fashion carbine rifles and ride horses. The the apes.

Tbh planet of the apes films are a bit strange as we are apes so we don't need to go to the future to see apes riding horses and being racist about other apes.

I'd put money on the leopard.

No brainer. Off course the much larger bear will destroy the smaller gorilla...but obviously DeCaprio would beat both in a knife fight

None could kill a tardigrade though.
