Do you know what the other 2 events are Bob, I need to see if I've got to start going to hypnotherapy and sorting my irrational fear of large tyres out Grin

Meat and nuts plus a cup of green tea.

Meat allows for a steady rise in the blood sugar levels and the fats in the nuts/seeds help maintain the level until your next meal, 2.5/3 hrs later. It's a winner for leanness and alertness.

Excuse my ignorance but does the brachioradiallis help with bending the arm at the elbow???
I was also wondering if you have changed your approach to stone load in the way you lift the stone of the floor??
Have you thought about the rubber band voodoo trick for your fore arm to help break up the scar tissue?

Physio thinks because my arm was kept in flexion for 4 weeks in a cast and then 3 weeks before op that the radiallis has shortened. We've spent loads of time on the bicep but not that area so that's why this is happening now.
What's that ?

Is there anything in the gym that would help you slowly and carefully stress your arm so that it got use to weight? So etching like zerchers, or inverted row holds

It's my brachioradiallis which is the problem, physio spent 45 mins on it on Thursday and it felt like new. Did log and stones and back to square f**king one, pain today is immense when extending the arm after short periods of being in flexion.
Need to do something in the gym for it, most definately.

VanillaGorilla said:Do you think stones without tacky is a good idea at this stage of rehab mate?

Probably not Dave, but my tacky was like a rock and I've got to get over this fear factor. I genuinely daren't look at a tyre yet alone flip one. It was the same with this bloody stone, scared to death, every little tweak or pain. It's a really thin line to tread I know.
I could cope with the op and doing it, day in and day out, but the thought of being out for so long and being reduced to a cripple again really doesn't do it for me.

How sad my comments have been deleted. Don't really see what was up with them, congratulating a competitor on his attitude.

Hammer To Tyre:
6 sets at 30 secs on/30 secs off

Yoke:
Not as heavy as I would like to have gone
20m @ 150kg
20m @ 200kg
20m @ 250kg
20m @ 280kg
20m @ 310kg

Farmers (20m Turn at 10m)
100kg
110kg
125kg
135kg - 17m with 2 Drops
140kg - 12m with 2 drops
Right arm grip goes before left. Right side is still quite a bit weaker.

Battle Rope:
6 sets @ 45 secs on/45 secs off

Stone Over Yoke:
This was a real head f**k TBH. Right arm was hurting and throbbing and the 1st set was awful very slow and laboured. No one motioning like I was before op. Very stressful, another f**king weakness to deal with.
3 x 3 @ 105kg (Chalk Only)

Log Clean & Press:
1 x 3 @ 102.5kg - Strict Press
1 x 3 @ 122.5kg - Strict Press
1 x 3 @ 132.5kg - Push Press

Mixed bag, getting strong in the gym is easy but adapting to the events with this op arm is alot more difficult than I first thought. May take up rugby againGrin
