Yo! tonys farmers are not jt ones pick up on the ones used today 18'' i have pulled 190 on them my deadlift is considerably less than 380!

I will have to measure Tony's ...famers handles, hopefully they will be lower than 18" coz 115k was all I could get off the floor yesterday.

Edit - damn my slow typing !

I conclude from your experiment that 'curry causes sudden dramatic weightloss in individuals with beards '

Well done mate, especially after loosing weight for it.

How high were the farmers pick up ? my deadlift pb is 227.5k and I cant get 120k off the floor with Tonys farmers handles.

Good stuff considering you're not 100% mate.

Get yourself fit and you'll smash some PBs in Finland.

I kept having to remind him he's injured. A lot of people wouldn't even be training in his condition yet he seemed to be disgusted in himself that he couldn't rip 300k off the floor today.

Cheers Joni, I'll let you into a secret re the farmers ....I'm a farmer ! well actually I'm a farmers son from a long line of farmers and I f**king hate farming but I did grow up on a farm and had to work on it from just about the time I could walk. Lots of carrying buckets and bales of hay just like a farmers walk so I guess it's about as natural an event for me as I'll get.

Excellent session. Really pleased to be going in the right direction again.

Deads ,nice to hit the 500lb barrier.

Log, overhead is dead to me.

Farmers, really pleased with this once I got the f**ker up.Ripped a callous off and bled so hopefully effort was not in question.

Stones, 120k felt heavy at first but then I tweaked my technique and it flew up.Absolutely over the moon the load the 140k. I didn't think I was a million miles off doubling it on the second go either. My new technique would probably not be any good for high platforms but it will serve my purposes for the comp.

By the time I got to fronties I was f**ked so I was pleased just have my depth confirmed as passable on the 120k equal pb.

Some good pressing by Tony today, shame I couldn't follow his example.

My pro strongman lifestyle was short lived , I'm back at work now for three days. Hoping to get another session in before Sundays monster session in 'The Garden'.

Could somebody explain the beard effect to me ? Would it have more effect than oly shoes or a belt ? shoes are £80 , belt is £50 but beard is free !!!

After a heavy weekend I was very releaved to have a pb-tastic seshion, although as this is about my fourth front squat seshion ever it's nothing to get too excited about. Plus I'm still sh*t at them obviously. I managed to get a bit more comfortable with the bar today but I was going an alarming red colour in the face. I think the depth was there so I'm claiming the 120k PB.

Bit of food then I'm off down my other gym for some pressing. I like splitting seshions up as I seem to flag easily and I also have f**k all else better to do with my time.

For f**ks sake please move your car before I have a go. On my current form the stone will probably come out of the tyre , roll down your drive and mash your car Roll-Eyes
