Early finish from work i've got a date with some weight!!!

Knees are very tender today

Power Clean
60 x3 x3
90 x3
100 x3
110 x3
120 x3
120 x3
120 x3

Snatch Pull
90 x3
120 x3
140 x3
150 x3
160 x3
170 x3

Drop down for some height and speed
Snatch Pull, 1 from floor, 1 from below knee, 1 from above knee
90 x3 x5

These were good fun and hard work, got IMS on set 2

Squat
70 x5
115 x3
160 x3
180 x3
Suffering from a TKS so call it quits on these tonight

Incline Press (smith machine)
some with various weights, shoulder wasn't too bad

Db side raise 4x8
Db front raise 3x10
Db curl 3x10, was going to do more but achieved a good WBA after three sets so left it there

Lots of laughing and a joking tonight, JoeB not training just watching.... again!!!! Aaron hitting some good squats. Big Phil donning a new squat suit and getting up to 285 just to see how it felt, DrRick finally blasting through the 500lb deadlift barrier, good man...

All in all good night, appart from the TKS that cut the squats short...

I can't remember, i was probably too busy trying to balance my carbs and my proteins and ensure my metaplasmacarpometahydes were at their optimum chronospasmatic hydration..... or at the chippy!!!!

Excellent point Joni. I'm all for throwing a light week in (Deload?!?!?!) when you need it but don't see the point in scheduling one in whether you need it or not

For f**k's sake you are a verbose bunch of bas***ds (in the nicest possible way), what you are all basically saying (in 100 words or more) is that most people benefit from backing off for a week now and again, whether it is less weight or less volume.
