I Did this up 2 the raw powerlifting contest i did earlier in the year. only got 2 week 7 and i did my own assistance. I found the speed work really helped. Harry has done it twice and had good improvement both times.

Tony said:Never thought of getting a suit, they can be used in WSM so why put yourself at a disadvantage.

Hi Tony, I need to get a suit as i dont have one, the suit ken is on about is dead, it ripped training on a squat machine like the one used at wsm. I also need to learn how 2 use a suit. I might look at a loose one to start with.

Ano ripped his bicep a couple of times using chains on the deadlift, if you use them i'd use straps and double overhand, don't know if you'd planned too anyway but i'd hate to see you rip a bicep.

Ive already riped my bicep lol few years ago in the final of BSM. but thanks i will take your advice and use straps.

Thanks guys, Im not that happy with it, speed of the floor was good, thinking of starting to use chains to improve my 2nd phase of the lift. Any thoughts? glad i didnt use straps or a suit though ;-)

I will pull 900lbs in a powerlifting contest in the next few years and also lift 1000kg raw.

Thanks guys. As I said on MT I need to work on the clean but the press has really improved over the last 6months for me. This is only the 2nd week that I have done Axle since last year so im sure the clean will improve.

» World's Strongest Man Experience MAY 2010 (Go to post)04-03-2010 @ 20:25
This show is about promoting the sport and making it bigger in the future. It is an exhibition (but we all like to win ;-) ). If we dont do things like this the sport will never grow. It needs to be a show and entertaining as well as a great contest. With the athleats down to do it, Im sure it will be great.
