noo i was talkin to two people at the gym who are doing it...i might give it a miss as i cant do the deadlift my best is 190kg when is the novice comp?

Hey My Names Sam Im 19, Im New On Here. I Train At Olympic Sports Gym. I Have Beeen Training Only For About a year now, mostly body building stuff at first but soon moved on to a little bit of light powercleans, but swifttly tryed my luck at Strongman.

Last Squat Session,

Warmed Up with The Bar ( 20Kg ) 10Reps
3x60Kg
3x100Kg
1x120Kg
1x140Kg ( matched My Pb )
1x150Kg ( With Knee Wraps ) Was More There But Through I Would Save For Another Day.

Today Was Deadlift,

Warm Up with 20kg ( the bar ) for 2 sets of 10

5x70Kg
5x120Kg
3x150Kg
1x160Kg ( Felt Really s**tty )

Sooo Did 5 Sets Of 5 On 140Kg

... My Best Strongman Event Stuff ...

250Kg Yoke 30m ( Very Slow And Not So Steady ) haha.
102Kg Each Hand Farmers 20m
90Kg Stone 7 Reps Over 4ft 6

... Thursdayyy Event Training With Some Big Men ...

Warmed up on a half size log clean n press - 52kg, 62kg, 72kg, 82kg

Then went outside were the lads was doing the big tyre, this weights 330kg i flipped it three times, then another 3 times after a few people had done there sets.

Duck Walk And Tyre Drag Medley, 112KG duck walk 20metres and a tyre with a f**kin slab of concrete ( f**kin heavyy ) 20M, i wish someone had timed it because i recon i did ok.

Stones, 90kg onto 4 ft 6 X2, 117 stone on 4ft 6 ( really hurt my back soo had to stop )

.... .Sunday Training At Olympic Gym ( 3/5/09 ). ....

started off some light Power clean & Press - 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 80kg,

some light deadlift 100kg X1, 120kg X1, 140kg X5, 160kg X1, 170kg ( Fail, Due To Back Pains )

Half Size Log Clean & Press - 52kg X3, 62kg X2, 72kg X1, 82kg X1

Super Yoke - 140kg for 20m, 220kg for 20m

330kg Big Tyre - x1, x5 ( got a video )

Car Pull ( renault megan with 2 notches on handbrake ) first time iv done thiss thought it went VERY well ( Got A Video )
~ Then It Started f**kin Pissing It Down Soo We Had To Go Back Inside ~

Full Clean & Press 40kg X 2, 60kg X2, 80kg X2, 85kg X1, 93kg X1 ( PB )
