hello all

i'll be darn sarf next week, for the week on a little jaunt to to london, im staying on clerkenwell road

is the UCL's gym the best place to go near by,
http://uclu.org/facilities/bloomsbury-fitness/gym-facilities

i more than likely will only go once as when i had a holiday in the summer i came back and felt attrocious and im hoping this will negate that

id also like somewhere very local at the expense of somewhere fantastic, its just a sneaky freshen up im planning rather than a massive session

ill probably train early or late to allow for maximum fun things to happen

Did you lot not go to the Jewish museum in Berlin? The 1st half especially is fascinatingly designed, same architect who designed the imperial war museum north if you've been there

I also very much enjoyed Munich for german city's

This was doing the rounds on fb

You see I own one and do use it rarely, but I firmly believe things taste better done in the oven or on the hob so will always do that where I can

Rick as it happens on Saturday, there was no Marc but martinb and I with 3 other friends had slow roast brisket
Roast shoulder of lamb
Goose fat potatoes
More goose fat potatoes but with rosemary and garlic
Roast squash
Roast carrots in star anise and honey
Broccoli and green beans

Then syrup pudding and a choc splodge thing

A few bottles of wine and beers. Was a good night

I also look out for rick, cuddles and vg as well.

I also toyed with the idea of starting a food blog of just the interesting things I eat throughout my day to day life

Tonight I had stew I made yesterday, 6 ox cheeks with 6 onions, 4 carrots, a bunch of celery, a bunch of both chives and parsley with less thyme, ale, mustard and hawkeshead relish so simple (srs) but cooked for 6 hours if not more, the cheeks were basically gravy

and crushed potato's and cabbage on the side

As for cooking. I enjoy it. I used to bake with my nan mum or auntie on a Sunday after lunch when a kid, now I can just cook

i enjoyed the solitary cyclist and the dancing men

did/would you ever take me up on that dr who recommendation? it would be the week before last

if you are the type of man to download things, may i suggest an old christohper ecleston episode called 'the empty child'

a lot of dr who i think is silly and i imagine most grown men would too, but now and again they get the balance just right

Damn my over exposed youthful mind

I remember the exchange well

As a side note, watch last week's dr who if you didn't, you might enjoy that

I did enjoy all 3

But I wanted copper beeches to end in some sick perverted fritz way, although not necessarily sexual

Make of that what you will

"He had not the supreme gift of the artist, the knowledge of when to stop. He sought to improve on that which was perfect and in doing so ruined all" I like that one, plus it shows that ACD kept up with recent events. At the time that was written fingerprints were relatively new.
I am delighted that you told me. Thank you and I hope you enjoy them all.

i can't remember the name of my fav, it was the one with the young nanny who was handsomely paid to replace the hidden ill daughter. Actually i found the climax a bit disapointing but i enjoyed the tense build up to it
