He is still 175kg but looks in great shape.. he's just naturally a huge guy and much taller than what he is billed at.. he is around 6 foot 5

He said he will make the final but he is still recovering from injury but next year he will be fully fit.. He looks completely different in person and looks really lean and muscular..

Good he isn't risking death to win anymore

As for the knees - my suspicion is that the aching knees are probably very much related to the increase in squat frequency but this is something that was considered going in...I would suggest that this phase will quickly pass, however doing anything you can to get blood into / out of the area (massage, elevating the legs, contrast showers, leg extensions & curls etc) will aid this process greatly.

I sorted chronic sore knees with sets of 25 rep bw squats every hr.

Gary Taylor was stupid strong.
Edit: I missed the "late" 90s part. My bad.

Taylor was a tremendous overhead lifter and dynamic athlete. He was not a static monster akin to Hall and Co, but perhaps the only one who could hang with today's crew given the chance. Taylor is possibly the best all round strength athlete in UK history -commonwealth athlete, gave Dorian Yate a run for Mr Britain, WSM.

It's no more illuminating than searching 'yoga flexibility'on the youtube.

I thought you maintained a purely anti zercher stance?

I don't Zercher per se. I will use partial lift and hold Zercher to train my core. Started these when trying to practice conans wheel without having access to conans wheel.

Regardless of the reasoning, I'm nothing if not a hypocrite.

Hes your age mate. What makes the difference between you and him. We all know the answer.

3 grams of eq, 2 of tren, and 2 grams of sustanon per week. Eye bloat would speak of heavy slin use. Bless these hard working athletes.

Edd Hall would have been world class strongman if he slowly and steadily progressed up to 170kg.

Steady now.

Those late 90s WSM were a joke in many respects. Ahola was legit strong. Most of rest were leagues away from modern athletes.

Magnus was strong as heck and claimed he was a drug free athlete.

Magnus could barely deadlift 700 pounds or squat 600lbs. He was a good bencher and mover of medium heavy weights. He would not qualify for a final today.

The best approach it seems is just to ignore them and move on.
No use trying to discuss things with someone who doesnt honor their word.

Whereas he'd probably say you should focus on the weightloss. Tomato, tomarto, potato, potarto.

Usual c**ts focused on attacking me rather than following the thread. Wonder how many administration messages I receive from because lanky streaks of piss have complained. Hilarious.
