assume that must've been Slapperjax (applejax) as i can't think of any other clubs in chorley.
only been in once in my entire life but have no recollection of any fish pond. lot of pond life however Grin
remember a cracker of a scrap down Oldham Street in Manchester ages ago. a few of us were stood outside Dry hanging around before heading off to Bugged Out at Sankeys and monstrous scrap kicked off across the road near the 'lazy pig' (a grim dive) involving about 20 girls screaming with the scalliest manc accents ever. ripping hair out of each others heads, scratching, kicking. blood everywhere, vicious as f**k. one girl got knocked out falling over and smacking her head on the floor.

Yes mate it was slapperjax. I swear it had a pond on the way in. Never had a night out in Oldham. Blackpool is a place were you are likely to see enjoyable violence. I've seen some amusing fights in Wigan as well. I do enjoy watching people kick the crap out of each other I just don't like it went innocents (such as me) get attacked for no reason.

I also remember a club in Standish. It was basically a big portacabin. Is it still there?

I am very confused. I have an extremely low IQ. What is a dingbat? What are these photos about?

More of this hypertrophy stuff. IŽd rather be strength training.

Dumbbell chest presses...incline X 3 sets for reps. Flat bench 3 sets for reps.

Deadlifts .. I worked up to 160 x 2. Then I did 150 x 8. 130 X 4 held for a while at top of lift for grip training.

Squats 60 kg X 20, 60 kg x 12.

Barbell rows 4 sets of 60 kg X 10 reps.

I workout twice a week... and each session is about an hour. If I had more time, I'd train more frequently.

SSB Squats - Used a 15kg plate each side; along with 25kg per side of kettlebells each side suspended on bands.
A horribly hard way of lifting 3 x 105kg.

How very peculiar.

I has a night out in Chorley once, I remember a club with a fish pond inside. Classy.

The roughest night out I've ever had was in Bury. Everybody kicking off of on me left right and center, and most of those looking for a fight were women. The main reason for them starting a fight was either bumping in to them or looking at them.

I've also seen some strange goings on in Wigan Pier, including a man who tried to ram-raid the front of the club with his car.

It didn't look to grim on my drive through. I like stone houses. Oxford street..ok, I'll remember that. Thanks.

Standish is next to Apply Bridge...so not far away from me really.

Superb grip strength. Very impressive.

More hypertrophy...I don't enjoy it.

Squats at 80 kg....4 sets of 8 reps, 1 set of ten reps....60 kg, 1 sets of 12, 1 sets of 10. Hopefully that will have provided some stimulus.

Shoulder presses, 40 kg for 10 reps. 4 sets of 50 kg for reps, another 2 sets of 40 kg.

Did 4 sets on this interesting fly machine....really burned.

I hate hypertrophy, but I find it much easer to bulk then I do to gain strength.

Does anybody else feel like if they tried to run their knees would break?

I was in Adlington yesterday. I saw a pub, a fishing shop, and a veterinary centre.

But where abouts is the gym.

I did not know Adlington was within such pretty surroundings.

Those are some very strong lifts. Very impressive. I do not know why but I like reading about peoples lighting exploits. Perhaps I am a Caucasian version of purple aki.
