09/01/16 - events sesh! Log press (floor to overhead reps) 45kg x a few 55kg x a few 70kg x 5 80kg x 8 PB - this was very hard conditioning wise 80kg x 6 Swap to bigger log 60kg x 1 75kg x 1 90kg x 1 Add thor elbow sleeves & wrist wraps 100kg x 1 PB - easy, and after a lot of reps too Farmers walk 50kg's x 40m ish - drop and turn @ 20m 60kg's x 40m 80kg's x 40m - grip was starting to slip by the end, didn't have any chalk though Yoke walk 55kg x 40m 135kg x 40m 175kg x 40m PB 175kg x 40m 175kg x 40m - probably the best run Tyre flip 250kg x a few sets and reps Atlas stone 60kg x lots of sets, and a final set of 5 75kg x lots of sets, and a final set of 5 90kg x 2 singles, and a rest pause set of 5 Very good day today, first real events session I've ever done, enjoyed it a lot. Feel very confident now about weights I've got in comp, but also slightly broken after all the work I've put in lol | |||

First 2-3 sets were super easy, last 2 were quite hard but still not to failure. Also need to avoid the gym at peak times, was ridiculously busy today so I couldn't get on the platform, had to pull from the very spongy gym floor which wasn't ideal. Thinking about doing England's strongest junior in June, so trying to really build my deadlift up in the background for that. | |||

04/01/16 - squeezed in a second session today, nothing major, just some shoulders Strict press 40kg x 5 50kg x 3 60kg x 2 Add belt, elbow sleeves & wrist wraps 70kg x 4 PB 70kg x 4 70kg x 4 70kg x 4 70kg x 4 Strict standing DB press 20kg's x 8 Add belt & elbow sleeves 26kg's x 8 PB 30kg's x 6 PB 30kg's x 6 - form started to break down and strained left trap slightly on last rep Facepulls 80lbs x 15 100lbs x 12 120lbs x 10 120lbs x 10 Finished with some light raises for side and rear delts, 3 sets of 15-20 reps each. Overhead strength is really starting to come on, can probably rep my current 80kg max as it stands | |||

Deadlifts were easy (had 2-3 reps in the tank every set) and got some good back assistance work in afterwards. Best ever set of 5 is 180kg, hope to hit that for a 5x5 soon. | |||
