Fantastic session today Axle clean & press Bar x a couple of sets 40kg x a couple of sets 60kg x 5 70kg x 5 80kg x 5 95kg x 4 PB but wanted 5 95kg x 1 clean then 5-6 reps from the chest, can't remember how many I did lol Log press (every rep floor to overhead) 70kg x 12 in 60 seconds This hurt, jumped in as a couple of lads have this weight in a comp. Figured it'd be decent for conditioning Squat (belt & double ply knee sleeves) 60kg x 5 100kg x 5 130kg x 3 160kg x 3 180kg x 1 200kg x 1 220kg x 1 PB - tough but fairly smooth, there's a bit more there Tyre flip 235kg x lots, probably about 40 reps? 4 guys were flipping in rotation, so ended up doing a rep every 20-30 seconds or so. Went on for a good 15 minutes lol 400kg x fail - was close, got it up & got my knee under it just couldn't lift it the last bit 400kg x fail - again fairly close 400kg x fail - knackered by this point, only lifted it a few inches Farmers walk 65kg x 40m 75kg x 20m 85kg x 20m 95kg x 20m 105kg x 20m 115kg x 20m All moved fast, was broken by this point as well so lots more there fresh Yoke 300kg x 40m Did this in between one of the farmers sets, someone had 300 on so figured I'd give it a go. Moved faster than the last time I hit this weight, pretty comfy tbh | |||

Squat 50kg x some 100kg x a few 120kg x 3 Add belt 140kg x 3 160kg x 2 180kg x 5 180kg x 5 180kg x 5 180kg x 8 PB Planned a 5x5 with 180 today, couldnt be arsed doing all 5 sets so just did 8 reps on the 4th and left squats there Deadlift 60kg x 5 100kg x 5 Add straps & belt 140kg x 4 170kg x 3 200kg x 3 215kg x 2 PB Fairly happy, legs were dead from the squats so had no power off the floor even on the warmup sets. 215 moved smooth though, first time I've hit a genuine PB on deadlifts in ages, & there's A LOT more in me fresh as well Frame carry (Trapbar) 120kg x 50m 120kg x 50m Add belt 170kg x 50m 220kg x 50m PB Handles are really thin on the Trapbar, find it quite difficult Leg curls 125lbs x 12 125lbs x 12 130lbs x 11 130lbs x 11 Calf press 100kg x 12 140kg x 10 170kg x 8 Seated calf raise 30kg x 15 30kg x 15 30kg x 15 | |||

That is an absurd amount of sets / volume on the axle haha. I'll be making an appearance this weekend, was thinking axle clean & press, heavy squats, tyre flip, arm over arm & maybe some farmers / keg carries if that sounds good? | |||
