shaw has changed original post obviously realised he overeacted don't like Z comment even though we all know he's right pretty much, but still doesnt suit him to put people down like this but Shaw went much lower with his comments and by the way super heavy dumbell and deadlift from the floor benefit Shaw, cant see why complain two overhead events in Anrnolds is since the beginning of the competition

MJG said:Shaw's just put a post on Instagram. Basically Z called him out on his hamstring injury and this was Shaw's response. "Maybe someday everyone will realize what kind of a person Zydrunas really is. I guess he needs to make comments like this to make himself feel better. He is really going to question if I injured my hamstring? Come on man. After the Arnold I shook his hand and congratulated him even though the events in the contest have been changed year after year to help him remain competitive. Why do you think I had to set the stone record outside of the contest? The answer is because if they put the stone event in the contest Zydrunas wouldn't compete. He knows that he got extremely lucky to win the Arnold and even with the events being set up for him that won't happen again. #truth" Pretty much mirrors what I've said about the changing of events at Arnold's to suit Z. I wonder if this is why grip is tested at WSM anymore either? It's a shame if one competitor is trying to hold the sport to ransom. Hasn't it been said Capes used to do something similar? That aside I don't think Shaw's hamstring was particularly badly injured either and he should have won Arnold's from his position after the first day. its a war going on here

staticcrossfit1 said:Today I asked Z.Savickas personally: Are you the strongest man ever for maximum strength or Brian Shaw or Eddie Hall ? His answer was: It is very simple. Think about what happened last 10 years. Does he mean that he is The Strongest Ever for MAX Strength? ask him for training videos

HeavyFuel said: I'm not saying the interview lied, but I wonder if Ed is on medication to control blood pressure at least. I recall him saying in an interview once that his blood pressure was through the roof so he cleaned up his diet. While that might help some, I can't see diet changing it that much if not accompanied by weight loss (which he obviously hasn't done). of course hes on medication for blood pressure dont want to speculate but a few months before Jenkins death he said his bp was 120/80 perfect. and he died in his sleep, which is usually caused due to clogged blood vessel

staticcrossfit1 said: If Z is in normal shape they are even in deadlift: 2010 WSM: both equaled 10 reps on the car deadlift Arnolds 2011: both equaled on 1100lbs, Brians looked weaker because he had a bad lockout back than 2014 ASC: Z d.lifted 1155lbs, Brian failed at it 2011 WSM: Z did 442.5Kg, Brian failed at it, Brian did 443 in 2013 2012 WSM: Z did 8 reps, Brian 5 , 360Kg 2015 WSM: Brian did 8, Z did 5, On 370Kg SO They have absoletly same deadliftstength. im Z fan if someone has noticed and i dont agree at all Shaw deadlifting from the floor has improved a lot since 2010-2011 Z's has faded since 2012 even believe last year he was better than now 370x5 deficit on stiff bar is much better than 404 on flexible bar if u didn rumoured about his great deadlifting shape noone expected him do good for reason |
