@Jack I had to google(translate) squashed disc first, i thought of a hernia.
A friend of mine had the injury back 10 years ago, when he was the same age, he cut and still cuts most movements that involve compression. Also he is unable to squat more than 80kg. He is still more jacked than 100% in the gym.
Still good luck.

Before you give up all hope there are several Powerlifters who have a squashed disc. Good recovery.

i really dislike technogym stuff - even the name, everything about their stuff smacks of early 90s chrome palace.
remember doing circa 180kg bench in hounslow golds that felt far too easy so wouldn't be surprised by these findings.

Where i live there is only technogym and gym80. Unhappy

90kg is a mugs game. I'll almost certainly end up being a bit of a fat 110 dropping from 120, with plans to end up shredded in the 100's.

90kg would depend on how much you are experienced with cutting, or if you take the risk.

If i remember correctly on of the Lilliebridges, did cut from abover 103 to 89,9. Or he just faked the weigh-in. But regardless of that good luck.

edit: had to google "mugs game".

I think Dan Green has been using his "tricks" for a good few years now, and won't be progressing at the same rate you will be for the next couple of years.
Plans to take Belyaev's numbers while you're at it?

I'll follow Dans journey alot, like every semi-stalker and he stated basically his problem is that he is to heavy for -100kg and when he started 2011-2012 2012 he had also to cut before a meet. That takes a toll, his best meet was at rum, where he did cut from 113.
And about the "tricks", if he wanted he could probably still blast more into it, but people did claim that he burned himself out over the last year.

Currently he usually sits about 115kg.

My money is on Dan Green, Tom Martin would have to bulk up nearly at 115kg at a low bodyfat to be as competive in the 100kg weight class as Dan Green.

But he has chances to take a other record, the -90 record of the high squatting Lilliebridge. Please take that back, Sir.

At a german competition(bench deadlift) Hall stated that he would squat only in heeled shoes and that he squats about 410kg.

I used a leoko bar and loved it for olympic lifts, but it bent after i did a 250 squat
600 Euros for that bar

Did you called them, they usually replace bars if they bent. They got a better customer service than Eleiko.

Belyaev's deadlifts are MUCH faster and easier. Straps aren't allowed in comps anyway.

In fact the comparison was just for the fun.

But if you consider, Belyaev said he would struggle with more weight, because his grip is limited. Belyaev did prepare 8 months for the meet and did made a light cut.
Andrej on the other hand, weighs like 84, was just one week out of a meet.

So the comparison was just there to show that Andrej isn't weak and could be in the future the guy who get's Belyaev.

by the way: yeah, lockout
» The importance of deloads (Go to post)30-10-2015 @ 23:19
Well, first thank you.

And actually could someone explain why there is "no need"? Or is here someone who is in scientific research and who can prove that deloads are just like donuts, make you fat, but taste good? This would be really great.

There are shops in poland(leoko) and also germany(sport tjedje) who sell them quite cheap Also if you are interested in Leoko you get 50kg more and pay less than a eleiko set.
