Had a session with some of the strong local lads at manimal today.

Yoke mainimal yoke is the worse yoke ive ever come across.

140x1 (bigger PB, quite pleased with that!)

200 fail (tape slipped)
Tape angrily ripped off and more tacky applied
200 to 48 inches (7kg PB, really happy with that, nothing too heavy by international standards but a nice milestone and on a brand new spartan stone so very big diameter and really smooth and slippery. I did notice with my weight drop that my core didn't feel that strong so when I'm heavier again lll come and do some reps with this stone. Bodes well though)


Mate those mixed grip cleans looked slick, didnt realise they were a pb too.

Was lucky enough to have a session with Paul Smith and Ashton Reid tonight.

Tried to keep the rest short on the above.

110 f, 2x1, 1x3 last set felt great.

Axle strict press

120 one motion to 54"
135 one motion to 54" p.b felt easy too.
150 failed the one motion, then went
Again and loaded it with a lap.
180. Lots of fails mostly struggled lapping, then the one i did, i messed up the extension.

Had a couple of bad session earlier this week, think the last few weeks of late nights has caught up on me.

Yoke worked up to a terribly slow 300, felt like it may as well have been 500. Felt rubbish in the build up to.
Transit tipper push/pull

Pulled a 9t truck as a pair as a warm up 35m
Pulled a 9t truck solo with rope 30m
Pulled a 18t truck solo with rope 30m

180 7x3 felt ok.
220 3 fails... no idea what happened, was going to try 270 for the official strongman, but not bothering now, (min dead looks to be 300 anyway).

light clean and jerks
Empty bar rack hold to stretch wrists.
Hanging leg raises.

Yoke. Worked up to speed runs with 255 at 30m
