Suffering with a trapped nerve in my glute so thought I'd do bench hoping it wouldn't affect it. How wrong was I, was a struggle just laying down, what a pain in the ass... Bench 50x10 x2 80x5 100x5 120x3 x3 Incline 60x10 x3 slow and steady, was in agony. Seated press 40x10 80x10 120x5 x3 Flys 11x10x3 11x8x2 *singles Rope pull downs 4x10 x3 Single underhand 3x10 x3 Seated tricep extension 12.5kgx10 x2 10mins steady bike Lots of stretching | |||

Squat 30 60 100 140 5x5 Deadlift 60 100 140 160 5x5 Single leg extensions 3 sets of 10 nowt heavy 10 mins on the bike to try reduce any doms in 2 days time. Bit of stretching trying to ease my tight back/glute/hams. Wanted to do a lil bit more assistance work but had very little sleep and left work late so happy just to do a bit of light volume work. | |||

Yeah, i think 260 is going to be too big an ask in such short time. On the flip side I've never been good at a high deadlift so would have still been my bogey event. Should be a good comp, think it'll be close between us. | |||

Had a week off due to my sciatic nerve playing up last sunday, eating has been terrible too. Log 40 70 90 x 3 1 clean, 3 push press. No supports. P.b 100x1 no supports pb.. Axle 85 x3 1 clean 3 push press 95 fail, back hurt. 90x3 1 clean 3 push press. Dumbell 40 for a few reps Yoke 220 x 20m 240-255 x 20 ( didnt check weight, struggled for some reason) Deadlift (no planned but couldnt say no) 220x1 230x1 equal p.b 240 fail got past my knees just ran out of energy, should have hitched it) time to drop the weight no and work on volume to build up to it. Farmers no chalk 100x10 120x10m 120x15m | |||

Log 40 60 80x3 7 sets Axle press 65 85 95 100 -fail struggled to clean it. Dumbell 40 x3 40 one motion each arm Yoke 135 x30m 215x30m 295x30m 135x30 super fast as a demo 335x5 bar was set to high so kept catching floor and couldn't be assed at this point. Stone (wasn't meant to do these but people were using them and couldn't say no) 90 lap, then another 1 motioned 135 fail (not tacky, very dusty and kept slipping) 135x1 with a tiny bit of tacky. | |||

Love strongman, but unfortunately I'm not actually strong, so here's my journey to stop being weak. Target: become competitive in u105. Thursday. Squat 20 60 ×2sets 100x2sets 140x5 180x2 p.b 180x3 (poor depth ) Deadlift 140x5 180x3 d.o.h raw 220x1 raw *very clean 220x3 belted touch and go p.b Gym closed so end of the session. | |||
