Called it a day there. pretty pissed off at the fail on 255 (its amazing how much an extra 5 kg makes a difference!) was annoyed so decided to do some rare rep work on 180. pretty happy to do the 13.

Good session really. pissed off with the push press but i'm certain now its th triceps that are the problem so gonna bosh out lots of strength work on the CG bench in the next couple of weeks.

Can't believe i failed on 135. pressing is not going well at the moment for me don't know what it is. think i need to do a bit more tricep work, doesn't feel like i'm getting alot from them in the press

Pretty disapointed that i didn't get 255 on the deads but i forgot to bring my chalk to the gym and my grip didn't hold today. think when i get back to my regular gym it will go up.

OK session happy witht the DB snatches, first time doing these in a while (usually do BB). wee bit disapointed i failed on the 105 push press, seem to have a sticking point at about forehead height... how annoying.

ha ha yeah what makes it worse is that i'm usually based in loughborough but that weekend i have to be in manc! thats life eh.

Yes mate! race you to 272.5kg? bodyweight doesn't come in to it! was going to be up in manchester next weekend thought of popping in to olympic but it seems everyone will be at the fun day so maybe another time!

Really happy with the session today hit 250 deadlift again and it went up better than a couple of weeks ago. Got cocky and tried 260 which got like 2 inch off the floor!

Had to change my session due to me using a different gym for a couple of weeks that doesn't have platforms or dropable weights. happy with the strict press, dissapointed with the push press thought i was going to go heavier.

Cheers mate yeah its going well at the moment. Pretty much self taught, had a couple of tips from the oly guys and S&C guys but i'm just trying to get the rhythm right. its all about timing apparently!
