I'm up at loughborough uni mate. yeah i actually do more cos i do 2 weights sessions a week with the team in the mornings (mostly oly lifting stuff) in addition to these strenght sessions. it seems like a lot but my body seems to cope with it. Grin

Went to watch this today and i can confirm that it was:

HEAVY the 105 guys were doing the same weights as the open guys

The platform for the stones was Really high

the farmers were the long cylinder type and looked very awkward.

there was a s**t load of novices making the comp super long

The LA muscle tv presenter girl was HOT, definatly worth a watch!

the Sugden lads did really well, wanted to get some videos but i forgot the camera... standard!

All in all I really enjoyed watching it and i hope the guys enjoyed competing.

Had to chop squats today as i suffered a slight hammy pull yeaterday sprinting - nothing major just could do with a couple of days rest. So i thought i'd set out some goals for the week:

1. Nail the 140kg jerk
2. 105kg push press
3. Really want a 260kg deadlift this week... its gonna happen.
4. 270kg rack pull
5. 142.5kg bench press
6. 150kg 2board press

There its in writing so it has to be done.
