Hixxy just did 207 kg on the giant log
The previous record was 206 by Radzikowski

Matjaz first with 10 reps on dumbbell so he needed 1 stones to go to the final
He did 4 just to be sure

Utter nonsense. Complete and utter bunkem. When you end a point by claiming GH and peptides do nothing for strength, then you display a complete lack of understanding of how anabolics and peptides actually function in the body.
The point concerning quality-how do you know people are consuming crap made in peoples bathtubs (even if that was actually the way most gym rats gear is produced, which it isn't). You think Brian Shaw is consuming crap when he has access to a smorgasboard of pharmaceutical grade drugs from Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela?? not to mention GH, IGF-1, Insulin, SARMS et al.
Really blown away that you think that the test, deca and dbol Kaz and co took can compete with the much wider range of much more powerful steroids used now.

ok buddy...

Not only that, but back then 99% of bathtubs were cast iron. Today they are 99% plastic.

worst yet, gmo plastic

It pales into comparison with the drugs used today.

I'm sorry, but this is absolute nonsense...

99% of drugs back then were pharma grade

99% of drugs now are bathtub grade...

I'm talking about things available to general population (and no, strongmen do not fit in the other category, maybe some elite level sprinters, footballers, basketball players... do)

30 mg of dbol back then would give you gains you couldn't get with 100+ these days
same goes for everything (I wasn't born back then, but a lot of guys I trained with, shot putters, oly lifters and so on, say the same exact thing)

the only thing you have today is hgh and peptides, which do almost nothing for strength

Well lets face it what Eddie did, whilst extremely impressive, is not important in any way.

You can make such comments about literally anything.
Why should I run?
Why should I work? Why get out of the bed?
You only have to die really...

If someone finds pleasure in something and it's worth to him, then let him do his thing. As long as he's not hurting anyone else in the process

If he went all out and got up to 165kg+ body weight he'd be ridiculously statically strong. I could see a huge log then.

He was thinking about getting 15-ish kg

Spoke to Radz a few months back
He's considering competing less and gaining some weight
He could be the one to hit 250 in that case
He certainly has the power, only needs a bit core strength to hold it

How many times does Shaw have to say that he himself thinks he isn't anywhere near 500kg?
He said he see his chances between 470-480kg.

I'm just responding to the posts that Shaw will be the one to push Eddie
IMO Pritchett and Caron are a bigger threat
» World Deadlift Championship Predictions (Go to post)10-07-2016 @ 13:15
IMO, Shaw will have big problems with this set up
His speed off the floor is nowhere near Eddies
If he gets it above his knees, then yes, he can pull over 500
But it's a long way to his knees from the floor
I see him struggling with 450

But i can't understand why he had such a trouble at the arnold with 465kg.
It was way harder than his 500kg.
It was raw yes but i don't think a suit gives him anywhere near 30kg.
So he really had that big of a trouble with the long bar.
I hope he strict presses the 230kg log this year.

that kind of bar makes the lockout a nightmare
Eddie= fast of the floor, bit of trouble on top
Brian= slow of the floor, fast lockout

Brian made it look easy because the bar was perfect for him
Eddie would have destroyed 465 that day if it was on a stiffer bar

What do you think he did? seriously!!!
Ate more than everyone else!!!
Brilliant lift anyway you look at it though

I honestly can't think of a single thing he could be doing that Shaw, Benny, Pritchett or any of the other top guys are doing

And no one made such an insane improvement on anything...
» World Deadlift Championship Predictions (Go to post)09-07-2016 @ 20:23
how the hell does one go from this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y33HDU0sSo
to a 500 kg deadlift in less than 5 years???

what is he doing than no one else is?
this is the most insane improvement on a lift by far

i am wondering if sarychev and shaw are even bigger.
but i have never seen such a large human being apart from this young english kid wo made shaw look small.the picture was posted on here.

I saw Thor a few times, even competed with him, but was never really impressed by his size for some reason
don't get me wrong, he's a huge dude

but Big Z
that's the first time I felt tiny
he's just enormous when he's in shape

can't really explain it
I know he's not bigger than Thor, but...

Radz also seems much larger than he actually is
