Once I have my thermostat up and running I will give you the login and you can play with my heating in Yorkshire from your unheated poverty flat in cucumber sandwich land whilst you wear a flat cap and drink Nespresso.

Has anyone gone with on of these new fangled devices, you know the fancy thermostats that connect to your broadband so you can control your central heating anywhere in the world?

I have been shopping around and looked at the likes of Hive and Nest but the Netatmo thermostat looks promising as it's nearly half the price with less bits and can be used wirelessly or as a wired replacement for existing thermostat.

Will be fitting it myself as it's a piece of piss to do, seems to be just live and switched live as most of them are battery powered.

Does anyone use these? How do you cook them?

Have ordered some from MF and I am hoping I may get away with whacking them in the oven along with my sweet potato chips as it would save on washing up and my hob is s**t anyway at the moment.

As they are more of a burger than a steak I seem to think they wouldn't dry out like a steak would and unlike steak I would have to cook these fully, I know it says to cook like a steak but something about leaving a burger 'pink' in the middle just seems wrong to me although probably fine.

Insula is Latin for 'Island'

f**king amazing coincidence.

Solitudo: desert, isolation, loneliness, solitude

Therefore: 'Insula Solitudo'

It goes without saying, it depends what your goals

Personally I find as long as i get adequate protein ~300g it doesn't matter too much what you do.

On low fat high carb I hold a lot more water, perform better in the gym, get stronger faster but feel bloated and horrible

On low carb high fat I don't feel as strong, my brain works slower, I tend to get stronger very slowly if at all, I'm often quite moody and irritable but I don't hold a lot of water and lean down very quickly.

So if you are 'strength athlete' (I use the term loosely!) the best compromise is to just go half and half but then It's far too easy to f**k up.

f**k it, I hate it, counting calories and macros. This is why I'll never be as Aesthetic as Jack Revans.
