| From his FB post. So today I broke the cross fed British total record and the British squat record in sleeves only. I'd only ever planned to do 7 lifts because I knew the numbers I wanted to hit and I stuck to the plan. Here are all 7 of those lifts; 340kg squat 365kg squat 200kg bench 210kg bench 220kg bench 340kg deadlift 375kg deadlift I have a few big strongman comps coming up, one of which is next week, so that's where my focus has been in training and why I didn't go all out today with 9 lifts. Today was all about qualifying for the British and that's what I'll be saving the big numbers for 😉 I honestly feel I have a lot more in the tank on squats and deadlift and a bit more on bench. Massive thank you to everyone that ran the show today and everyone that came to support. | There are 3 static and 3 moving events, seems fairly evenly spread and the static events are all true strongman specialities. This is 100% a win on merit for Eddie and I'm really happy for him. I'd also like to see just one visit to a powerlift event just to set a huge total record. | |||
