Then you should count again. Its 15

So to explain it, the point was the final rep was dropped, dropped reps don't count, ask Ed Hall.

5/6

Power clean + strict

80 * 5, 5, 5, 5, 5,

Front squats

160 * 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Toe presses

120 * 25, 25, 25.

Brief session today as had to attend physio. Power cleans and front squats both felt very power. Strict press was a little harder, but having pressed yesterday thats not a surprise.

Hoping to head to TSG for an events session tomorrow.

Just embrace your crush and make Paul a wiki page. Ask nicely and he'll probably send you a topless selfie for the 'article', tastefully done of course.

I really should check in here more often, it never fails to impress.

250 * 5 is serious deadlifting. And nice work on that one motion, looked like it had gotten out in front of you, but you nailed that b**ch.

4/6

Paused incline press

100 * 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Paused bench press

120 * 2, 2, 2, 2, 2.

Incline db flye press

30 * 10, 10, 10.

Cable crossovers

Another short and sweet session tonight. Incline felt good, bench a little off, had to use a different bar and the rings werent where they should be so took a few sets to find the right grip width.
Incline db was easy, but despite my best efforts i couldnt actually feel the chest working. It appears somewhere in the past year or so ive lost the whole mind muscle connection i had back in my leaner days.

That motivation.

Look forward to this, your bench videos never fail to impress.

His grip strength is ridiculous. He will be fine for strongman...his deadlift won't be a weakness either after a year or so of training strongman.

That is one of the sickest displays of grip strength I have ever came across, absolutely stupendous!

3/6

Doh axle deadlifts

105 * 5, 5, 5, 5,
115 * 5.

*cough* sumo *cough* deadlifts

170 * 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Tyre flip

350 * 3.

Farmers walk into tyre flip

110 * 20m/350 * 5 - 2 runs.

Everything was done kit free tonight for a change, with the only exception being that i tried out some figure 8 straps on the sumo pulls.
Grip felt great on the axle, almost pushed on for a pb, but the plan is reps for a while so resisted.
Farmers and tyre both felt solid, will either add in extra flips, or maybe a 3rd event to this medley and use it as my standard conditioning drill.
Sumo was a piece of cake, though given the weight thats hardly surprising. Its just in because my lower back is a bit messed up at the minute so conventional pulls are very uncomfortable. Will drastically up the weight next week, probably 200 for 5 x 5.

1/6

Strict press

85 * 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Side laterals

Db front raises

Db rows

30 * 10, 10, 10.

And that was that. Short session tonight, as they will be for the rest of the week. Strict press was a bit uncomfortable, but never really difficult.

Rest day tomorrow, then either more pressing, or a little event work on wed.

Looking very comfortable with the weights, just need to speed them feet up and you'll be a force!

31/5

Squats

200 * 5, 5, 5, 5,
220 * 5.

Deadlifts

220 * 2,
240 * 2, 2,
250 * 2, 2.

Farmers/fat grip farmers

110 * 15m/65 * 15m,
65 * 15m/110 * 15m - reversed order for 2nd run.

Tyre flip

350 * 3, 5.

Really struggled today, got an awful lot of aches, above and beyond the norm. Going to ease off for the next 5 days so hopefully im fighting fit for events at TSG on saturday.

Strict press and shoulders tomorrow i expect.

I dont think Radz was all that close really.

Z made that look shockingly easy, hopefully he hits 230+ before he retires.
