People use the term racist far to often. Different people are suited to different things and race, age, gender and all other variables make a difference. Aswell as GENETICS!!

JohnGym said: What makes you say death is a possibility in heavyweight boxing? For example, can you list 1 heavyweight who has died during or immediately after a fight in the last 30 years? Paul is right in lots of what he says. Many heavyweights are in horrendous condition. Many are fat, and terribly unfit. Regardless, they have many years of training behind them which would invariably be too much for an absolute rank novice like Paul. Audley keeps being mentioned too. Big Aud won Commonwealth, European and World straps in his career as well as an Olympic Gold medal. Some mug eh? Doesn't matter what weight there has been hundereds of deaths in boxing. I'm sure there was a heavy weight put in a coma end of last year and not positive but sure they have turned his life support machine off. Can't remember his name thi

Post Edited: 10.06.2014 @ 15:42 PM by DL1987 Please get some videos of your naturally gifted talet on the bags, pads or god forbid some sparring before you try and put somebody else down for boxing mate. It takes a great deal to get in the ring (even the jokes who havnt trained and are garbage) so to put someone down or say there s**t without doing so yourself is just wrong.

PaulSavage said: Whats the difference between semi pro and pro? I get what you are saying but am not like that, it took months of pat saying i could be british champ for me to even think about doing boxing. I tend to plan ahead and look to what's possible in the future, it doesn't mean that's where i think i'm heading. Semi pro is just boxing you get paid for but is more of a hobby than a full time profession. Plus the rounds are generally 2minutes instead of 3minutes and most fights are over 3 to 6 rounds unless agreed to by the fighters. Who is pat?? If he's telling you that you could be british champion without seeing you spar or fight he is very optimistic to say the least

PaulSavage said: lol yes, id been punched in the face by the time i was 1 But why would you not talk about it? Surely you would talk about something like this before doing it at all Yes talk about training and doing abit sparring but untill you have experienced a good few rounds sparring you shouldn't talk about getting paid for something you don't know you can even be competitive at. I boxed amature and semi pro and have see a lot of guys have one or two training sessions and think there the next champion of the world only to get knocked out in there first fight and never return to the gym
