Lalas could've pinned him right away. He did it to put on a show. If he flashed him it wouldn't be good for the crowd. Lalas knows what he's doing. Look at his changing elbow position on the pad

I'm not sure if Eddie could pull 500kg if he had trained like he would for worlds. It looks like he concentrated on the deadlift rather than being an all rounder.

At worlds it's over a few days rather than one night like at Europes so he would have time to recover.

Just because everyone's talking about such a monumental lift. If Hall and Magnusson weren't aiming for the first 500kg in history then there wouldn't be so much hype about it.

Do you lift the weight from the floor to overhead?

No, it's to see who can lift the heaviest dead person off the floor. I hear Pavarotti is the starting weight.

There's a European inzer site sol, can't remember the full address but just Google inzer Europe. They're Slovakia or Czech Republic based I think so you won't get hit with import tax and postage should be a bit cheaper.

Thanks Neil, found a pair and saved £30! Does that mean you get a percentage of the saving?

I know this is a really old thread but if anyone else has any Inzer gripper wraps for sale then let me know. I don't want to have to pay £90 to get some from America when i don't know what they'll be like.

I wonder if Hafthor is losing his purpose in life after that performance? (there's no reason to be alive if you can't to deadlift)

» Transport to ESM from Scotland? (Go to post)31-07-2014 @ 09:53
Just putting the feelers out to see if anyone is interested in a car pool from Scotland down to Leeds for Europe's strongest man and deadlift comp. I was thinking to take the car down from Aberdeen on Friday evening and come back on Saturday night or Sunday morning. Split the fuel costs and driving if possible.

Cheers!
» Front Squats (Go to post)05-07-2014 @ 08:41
I can do clean grip and I've tried it both narrow and wide. I'll try getting more flexible over the next few months and try it again though.

I don't think my biceps tendons are knackered because I can to any bicep workout, atlas stones, loading etc

I've tried cross arm grip and using straps too. I think it's something to do with the pressure on my shoulders/front delt.

Anyone else have a problem doing front squats? I've tried every variation/grip but keep getting pain shooting down my shoulders and through my biceps when the weight gets heavy. The last time i had to stop training shoulders for a month until the pain stopped.

Anyone have this problem or know how i could solve it?

» ZMA - sleeping aid or hallucinagen? (Go to post)26-06-2014 @ 18:19
I hear some people are addicted to ZMA. Other sleep aids I've tried that worked for me are ALPHA BRAIN and HP5
