It may have been me but at the Commonwealth's it seemed that it was almost team policy
to open a bit on the high side. Hopefully this will not continue.

Kind of stating the obvious but that Girl has an awesome future, especially if people start spelling her name correctly. Happy

REALLY looking forward to the Asian games.

I'm hopeful that there will be some excellent coverage of it this year what with ATG and what have you.

I wondered if we would see a response after the recent Russian Champs.

Moulaei (sp?) appears to have injured himself which is a big shame.

What's the reason you can't go straight to everyday training, is it a practical matter (can't get to barbell everyday etc) or are you thinking it's prudent to have a 'break in' period? If it's the former I would say adding extra days as you can would help - you can only do what you can do - if it's the latter I would agree with AMH that it's best to get used to the daily part as soon as possible, even if you consciously low ball what you do if you are concerned by tendinitis etc.

If you look at the number of active training logs the forum looks quite healths. This seems to be a fairly good metric , it takes quite a lot effort to keep them going consistently and in my view that's where the 'magic happens' - if there is an interesting thread going on in one of the other sub-forums I consider that a bonus. I suppose I am of an age and 'experience' where there's little new to me in terms of programming or exercise selection so that doesnt't tend to draw my interest.

Obviously it's a shame when members let their logs lie idle but, hey, real life happens and what not. Plus there tends to be new logs to follow...

I think that could be said for any training regime, no?

....and then probably some crap cream cakes.

I don't know that such things exist? Happy

If you had the time it would be interesting if you could revivify your log this to see exactly how you play this.

An absinthe cake would be f**king AWESOME.

And maybe a little deadly - but whatever.
