Got chance of doing uk's thank to JT. Not sure what to do, whether to rest elbow or just do it, as apart from pressing, the events look good for me!

Don't get disheartened mate, one bad comp does not a strongman make and all that s**t.

You'll gain loads over the space of a season. Second last I finished last year, a year on and you can see what progress can be made.

You have the same solid base I began with eg a good deadlift. You have the potential to be right up there next year.

Cheers tony. You are living proof that it can be done!

Your progress even from the midlands qualifier has been unbelievable

Millsy - Cheers mate, next year will be a blast but more importantly, im looking forward to the training now to get to where i need to be. Nowhere better than ashton on a thursday, awesome training with you fellas.

Joni - I like to have a plan, just got back from physio, no pressing for a while, just rehab.

Ashtons in-f**king-deed on thursday!! Stones, medley, deads.

Thanks for all the positive comments fellas. Means a great deal when walking away froma bad comp.

I hope to be up there next year.

Feel like the potential is there to be capitalised on so a few points are going to be adressed from now on which are-

1, Drop the fat, want to be a comfortable 105, not killing myself the night before, never been this fat.

2, Get my elbow fixed, my pressing was stronger 18months ago which means f**k all now, sick of making excuses about this injury or that injury, if its fixed i will carry on, if it aint i aint f**king bothering!

3, Get fitter. Goes hand in hand with dropping the fat, but a big let down.

4, Concentrate on technique on events more, eg: stones to high f**king platforms!!!

And no more comps until im happy with where im at!!!

Good to meet you yesterday mate.

Balls to the wall effort on everything and even more impressive with an injury.

England and Wales Most Powerful Man u105

Log - 110kg

1 Rep - Terrible

Deadlift

220kg
240kg
260kg
280kg - Ok, happy i walked away unscathed

Medley - 180kg duckwalk - Drag - 185kg duckwalk (15m each)

Did first two and got 4ish metre with last duckwalk - s**te

Medley - 300kg Tyre (4 flips) - Chain Drag (15m)- 160kg anvil (15m)

114secs - Only event i did half decent in

Stones

0 reps - Couldnt load stone onto high platform, no technique - f**kING TERRIBLE,PATHETIC,SOUL-DESTROYING.

Absolute load of s**te from me, didnt reach any of my goals/expectations.
Didnt expect to place well as the standard was terrific but failing personal goals on everything was a nightmare.

Enjoyed the day nevertheless and was a great day out. JT putting on a comp like that at last minute was awesome.
