Last year the two main strongmen events had deadlift...max deadlift at Arnold's ..Shaw won and at WSM they had heavy deadlift from just below regular height...Shaw won. | |||

| The Russians are just strong at the minute. In the last week or so they've took the bench WR, squat WR, clean & jerk WR and overall weightlifting WR. Supposedly there is another stronger weightlifter as well. America need to up their game, Shaw needs to do the deadlift comp next year and Spotto needs to return. | |||

I have seen a non hitched 400kg deadlift, I would assume his squat is better.Pretty sure I read he was going to get the bench record, then go for overall if he can get used to knee wraps and then start strongman. He doesn't seem to have a stength weakness...his grip is ridiculous. | |||

| Watched and enjoyed. Both Shaw and Eddie look ridiculously strong. I actually forgot how well Eddie done here...he was great on the static stuff as per usual but also great on some very heavy moving events. | |||
