Radz is going to do damage at Arnold's Australia 2 weeks after...in the most recent comp he pisses a 215kg log, 410kg deadlift and 120kg dumbbell.

Is the Arnold's this weekend coming or the one after?

maybe 455-460

but I still believe Zydrunas is the strongest above the knees, so this flexible bar will benefit him

Link to Shaw's long bar lift.

Well his previous pb is 447kg..so it seems like it will be higher than that. So it will be impressive regardless

On one of his facebook vids there is one of him psyching up before a huge deadlift...his training partners voice and comments are hilarious.

Thor does 220kg x6 for bench on his Facebook..impressive for a long armed guy.

Thor would actually put up a huge total in a powerlifting comp because his squats are surprisingly good.

The arnold's has a much better deadlift line-up and no suits.

The rogue bar is not like the bar eddie lifted on. The center of the bar seems to be the same length as a regular bar and just longer at the ends to get thicker plates which causes more flex.

Should be massive deadlifts all round.

Looks like the big 4 are all going in heavier than ever and un-injured.

Brian Shaw is in great shape by the looks of his few recent vids. He only said his pressing and deadlift training went ''well''. But his yoke and frame carry training went ''really well''.

Being non-suited definitely plays into Shaw's hand.

Why? The bar at the Arnold also will ne super long and bendy

I don't know..those team deadlift bars seem to be just built so 2 guys can pull it rather than a huge benefit. I think the arnold's will have built this bar to get the record...or it might just look good.

Going off the vids, Ed's traning looks more focussed for WSM..lots of conditioning.

What is great, we still have no clue what Shaw and Z can pull on a deadlift at the beginning of a comp on a regular/favourable(non axle) bar.

Shaw is definitely ready to pull big..his last two vids on facebook show that.

all i have to say

OVERRATED

Are you still going to put your dick on a guillotine if Z doesn't win the deadlift?

I think the point was more it is a 14ft bar(probably the one used in the team championships)..they wobble a lot and he pulled 450kg, so in bad conditions.

I think the bar at the arnold's will actually benefit them rather than hinder.

Ha! Good point.
I don't think Z posting an impressive log press makes a difference. Everyone just expects he'll win it anyway.
Looking forward to the competition. If Z's back is in good shape he'll be in the hunt for the win with at least Bryan and maybe Thor and Eddie.

His back wasn't that bad anyway. Just a niggle at the wrong time. I am pretty sure a year down the line it is 100%.

Just look at the lifts he did last year with this ''career threatening'' back injury.
