Reasonable bench session yesterday evening,

1) NGP - 25 reps

2) Bench
W/U to 70x5
Paused - 90, 105, 120 x 3, 3x1 @ 135, 5x2 @ 120 - All good solid pauses, and bum didn't lift which is definitely good on the heavier sets.
T&G @ 60% - 3x10 @ 90

3)Cable Rows 3x15 @ 60

Simple but effective session,

1) Deadlifts (Conventional)
W/U to 160x3
W/S 5x3 @ 180

2) SG Deadlifts 3x8 @ 110

James had a late night watching England so I was on my own this morning, good session all the same.

1) NGP - 25reps

2) Bench
w/u to 115x3
W/s 130 x 3/3/3/3/5 - really pushing myself on the last set now, dont want to leave to much on the table!

Good session at the farm this evening, "good" to see Ian back talking to me mid set and ruining my first attempt at LOTM, but it was funny all the same.

Anyways

1) Squats
W/U to 165x3
W/S 185, 190, 185 x 3

2) Deadlifts
W/U to 190 x 2
W/S 210, 220 x 2 - I left it at this point as I whilst I could of gone heavier my stomach was hurting, and a big deadlift on a dodgy stomach can only end badly.

3) LOTM - 1 arm dumbbell snatch
30, 40 x 3
Reps @ 50kg (biggest dumbbell we have so me and Stewart compete on reps) 1st go did 6 reps geared up for a 7th when Ian jumped in with the dumbbell in mid air and said it was the 47.5! Thanks for that lol
Not to worry though went back again and did 8 reps Happy hopefully enough for the win.

Paused - 90, 105, 117.5 x 3, 3x1 @ 132.5, 125x2, then worked on real long solid pauses at 120 again doing 5 x 2
T&G @ 60% - 2x10 @ 90

3) Wide grip cable rows 3x15 @ 40 - just to keep things nicely balanced.

1) Conventional Deadlifts
W/U to 155x3
W/S 5x3 @ 175

2) Snatch Grip Deadlifts 3x8 @ 110

3) V Handle Rows - 3x12 @ 60

Good fun this morning with Mark and James, we got the real work done before having a play around with the slingshot at the end for a few singles.

1) NGP - 25 reps

2) Bench
W/U to 110x3
W/S 127.5 x 3/3*/3/3/5
*Miss loaded by the new boy Mark, obviously a bit new to this game forgot to chuck on the 2.5 and biscuit on one end.

Slingshot - 150x1, 165x1, 175xFailure - Had nothing left but it was a bit of a laugh to end the session, 3 attempts at various weights by each of us, we each had 2 good 1 fail.

Right, on to todays lifting, squats were very nice, came up easy, and then I'm really happy with the deadlifts, back going in the right direction, took Kevs advice on board and hopefully this will be the kick up the arse my deadlift needs.

1) Squats
W/U to 160x3
W/S 180, 185, 180 x 3

2) Deadlifts
W/U to 190x2
W/S 210, 220, 230 x 2, 3x2 @ 200

Good bench session this evening, the singles weren't as good as I hoped but its my last week before a reset so to be expected, I added extra sets of 2 after just to keep dialling in my form and further improving strength.

Anyway,

Paused - 90, 110, 125x3, 3x1 @ 140, 132.5x2, 5x2 @ 120

Cheers mate was suprisingly tough even though the weights are nothing special.
