Good evening all, oh where to start its been such a long time!

If you've ever read this log before you'd probably compare it to a good sieve, some good solid parts with a bit to hold onto but plenty of fooking gaps usually about 7 years apart Unhappy

For the last 7 years ive done bugger all training ive been a right lazy t**t, what i have been doing is motorbiking...anywhere and everywhere. England,Wales,Scotland,Ireland,France,Spain,Germany,Holland,Belgium,Luxembourg,Austria,Poland,Switzerland,Italy,Czech,Slovakia,Slovenia,Hungary and even the U.S.A last year.
Never got to travel as a young man but ive now made up for it on a bike, absolutely love it, very hard to explain unless you ride but its very good for the soul Grin

Now ive been diabetic type 2 for about the last 15 years and have always been diet and tablet controlled but the last couple of years its been much harder to control and at xmas i had to make the switch to insulin which ive put off for years tbh.
Now ive always been a heavy lad and with now been on the insulin your more prone to weight gain so im using this as a kick up the arse to start training again. My goals have obviously now changed, i still love the strength side of training but im now doing it to maintain weight a level of fitness and some sort of longevity.
Unfortunately ive got some diabetic neuropathy which in short is nerve damage in my lower limbs been the feet, calves and hips which is a real t**t because squat used to be my strong point Unhappy
Nonetheless im still giving it a go, plus God loves a tryer Grin

I've still got Balls Deep Gym at the end of the garden but its got a bit of a roof leak over the winter so is not usable at the moment (Reminds me of Adlington Barbell back in the day when it had INTERNAL guttering Grin Grin Grin )
So ive started at a local commercial gym Snap Fitness in Northwich, only opened at xmas. Been going for nearly a month now its got most things i need as is pretty good tbh, and im still training with my old training partner Andy so everythings good there!
The massive difference from back in the day is all these young ones now train with their phones glued to their foreheads...What's that all about? Confused

Anyhow im rather weak at the moment but that's to be expected and im generally aching like a t**t most sessions but and there is a BIG but...Im enjoying it and surely that's the point?

Will be posting some sessions shortly.

Martin you lovable Rogue, how are you? Hope your well!

Was just watching a video the other day of a very young Mr Eddie Hall doing his first Strongman competition down at Northwich in the Cheshire Strongman which of course....you were on the mike doing a fine job with that sexy Scottish twang!!
Wasn't interested in Eddie after that i was just looking for you.

And infinitely more interesting.
Well shiver my timbers, strip me, beat me and call me Susan. B15ape1 my splendidly-calved, generously-testicled, old friend. I do hope you and the family are well. It was only a few days back that Big Phil was asking about you. We both still reckon (as did Alan) that you could have squatted 800 lbs if you hadn't lost your way in life. Please give my very best regards to all.

Were all well Pedro thanks for asking. I love the fact that its years since ive been on here (Sugden Barbell) and you and your log are still front and central as it always was.
Regarding the 800lbs squats i honestly believe if the diabetes bollox didn't hit me when it did i think it would of happened but hey ho life goes on.

Just read the post about Joe Bullock aswell, absolutely gutted , loved the lad to bits, taken far too young!!

Think im gonna start my log again Peter, goals have changed a little and far too many things have happened to fill your log with my story, but im rest assured that it will still sit well here in the home of Bulls**t.

Hope everyones well at the Adlington end aswell...Speak soon you Fat gorgeous f**k!!

What is it about the British and dogs ? Why do they all seem to love them so, even when, as I seem to recall this happened in the last few weeks, they murder babies.

I know youve never been a lover of dogs Pete but theres an old saying "Theres no such thing as a bad dog just bad ownwers"

You know where you stand with a dog, you feed them water them walk them and their generally happy and above everything loyal...unlike cats. A cat will let you feed it pet it then suddenly decide it wants to sink its claws in the back of your hand and then thinks im going into next doors garden for a piss and a s**t just because it can the vicious bas***ds.

Anyway moral of the story is dogs just like chips and Cats are cunning evil bas***ds!!
