probably, but i was just thinking....
my max squat is 220 and max bench 142.5, but the numbers i can hit unstimulated any day of the week probably 200 and 130. So, he says going up to a single at or near that number 4-7 times a week... I reckon i could bench 125-130x1 every day with ease

If you try it i would ease into it first. So if you squat once a week then begin with 2-3 times a week first. Im sure that pushing deads not too hard will be a big part of the program too along with eating loads.

Although marks strength back in the day was amazing, I still doubt the authenticity of this with it being WWE. I remember years ago when him and someone else where going for the "WR bench" and Mark henry nearly locked it out but the other wrestler pushed the bar back down onto him, of course we know mark cannot bench that much.

Yer thats definitely a good article. Iv tried something similar however I started to regress, but this article makes some good points. I was psyching up for every lift and aiming for a new max every time not a "training max". Might be something worth trying again in the future.

Man Thats a shame, must have been close as the vid I saw of the 370 looked pretty easy, glad he got the total though.

jimmyf said:Dan will do 370kg half asleep, awesome lifting from him, looks much better at 240 instead of cutting to 220.

Spoto's 3rd was much better than his 2nd tng but at that weight still deserves respect no matter if it wasn't to IPF standards Tongue

Hope to see that dan green gets the wr total when i wake up. Bet yes i agree, cutting from 250 to 220 is too much.

Just hit 327.5, paused that a bit better.

Dan Green needs like 370kg deadlift for all time 242 total record.

Although mendlesons was TNG too to be fair, but no really the point.

Wonder if he has more in him? Looked a little shaky at the lockout but speed was good off his chest.

Dan Green aiming for 242 total record I think?

Well that went up fast. 325kg good lift as far I saw?

I might be wrong but I didn't really see any pause there.

Spoto jst equalled WR with 325kg but should have been a no-lift in my opinion
