That video of eddie was from 2012 i think? He was lighter there than he has been since retiring, 165 is the lightest he has been since retiring and was back up at 175 not long since. I don't think eddie will be any lighter than 150 and Thor about 170

On twitch Thor said he won't be doing WSM this year as he hasn't been given an invite yet, he asked them if he had an invite and they didn't respond to him

To do what though? There isn't exactly a glut of acting roles for non-actors who only offer a 6'10, 200kg physique to things... and he isn't going to be a pro fighter for 2 reasons: 1) he'll be s**t at it and would get destroyed by any pro-HW fighter and 2) he is far too large to be anything more than an old school K1 freakshow.. it was tough for Mariusz to make 265, Thor could never do it.
Not hating on the guy at all, I think he is the strongest person in history now.. but strongman/strength sports are his game, not acting or fighting.

He has to retire at some point to keep his health in check and he has a baby on the way.

Strongman hasn't really got any money in it, he isn't going to do a boxing career no but this one 6 figure fight deal with eddie hall will earn him more than he would get in the next 5 years of strongman.

He may get a role in the odd film but nothing again like Game of thrones.

I hate to say it but i think Thor will be retiring from Strongman in the next year or so. He said a few months ago when fighting eddie was mentioned that he would want to train properly for it, maybe when his strongman career had ended.

Julius says once he benches 800lbs at the WUS competition he wants to compete in the world log lifting champs next year (or whenever it is due to Rona).
He claims to have overhead pressed 247kg (545lbs) for reps.

I don't doubt that he could do a massive seated press but i do have a lot of doubts about him being able to get a 230 log to his chest. He put up some videos of him practising the log on his channel, not sure on the weights but he struggled a lot to clean.

I stand by it.

I imagine its hard to know what its like to have mental issues when its not something you have not experienced.

I myself have never had issues and nor do i feel like I'm susceptible to that kind of problem but i feel for those who generally do have a problem. Having said that i think a lot of people play on it and don't really have any issues, some will use it as an excuse for being a nob and not sticking to the guidelines given, the reality is that they just don't like to be told what to do and resist.

With all due respect, not really comparable with lebron
LeBron is also built like a brick s**t house naturally and is known for his precense and power on the court
We will agree to disagree my friend, but I would surprised if that man couldn’t turn his hand to strongman
Granted they were young men, but have you seen Brian or Thor before strongman?
Thor was just like his Dad

Even after seeing that video of his squat?

I mean basketball players do weight train so he isn't just built how he is without no weight training at all.

Also there are loads of guys strong as hell in the NFL who weight train from a young age, are athletic, powerful etc like Lebron, and yet someone like Julius maddox who probably didn't ever really excel at sports when he was younger has absolutely blown the bench record up.

I also think that response to drugs is a big thing, some people will get better effects from taking gear than others and also be able to take more without having as many side effects.
